SERVINGS

Ingredients

  • 60 ml / 2 fl oz 100% agave blanco tequila
  • 120 ml / 4 fl oz fresh orange juice
  • 15 ml / ½ fl oz real grenadine made with pomegranate
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional garnish: orange slice and a cherry

Instructions

  • Fill a tall glass with ice all the way to the top so the drink stays cold and balanced.
  • Pour the tequila over the ice, then add the fresh orange juice and gently stir once to combine.
  • Slowly pour the grenadine down the inside of the glass or over the back of a spoon so it sinks to the bottom and creates the sunrise look.
  • Do not stir again, just let the colour naturally blend as you drink it.
  • Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry if using and serve right away for the best flavour.
