We want you to love every meal you cook from our books. If the recipes aren’t a good fit for you, we want to make it right.

Our 14-Day Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our recipes, which is why we offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase. Here is how it works:

Before you download: If you purchase the book and decide it is not for you before downloading it, you can request a full refund at any time within 14 days. No questions asked.

After you download: Once you download the book or access more than 15% of the content, the sale is considered final. This is because our recipes are delivered in full the moment you download – there is no way to “return” a digital file the way you would a physical book.

We believe this is fair to both sides. You get time to decide before committing and we are protected from people who download everything and then ask for their money back. If there is a genuine issue with your purchase (corrupted file, wrong product delivered, duplicate charge), we will always make it right regardless of whether you have downloaded or not.

How to Request a Refund

Because Paddle.com is our Merchant of Record, they handle the technical side of the payment. To get a refund, you can:

  1. Click the “Contact Support” link in the original email receipt you received from Paddle.
  2. Or, visit Paddle.net to look up your order and request a refund there.
  3. You can also email us directly through our Contact page and we will help trigger the process through the Paddle system.
  4. Confirm whether you have downloaded the file or not. If you have downloaded or accessed more than 15% of the content, please note that a refund will not be available except in cases of technical issues such as corrupted files or duplicate charges.

EU & UK Customers (Right of Withdrawal)

By law, digital content usually has a 14-day “cooling off” period. However, because you get immediate access to the download this right usually ends once the download starts.

By completing your purchase and clicking the download link, you agree that you are receiving the content immediately and you waive your statutory 14-day right to cancel.

Don’t worry – even though the statutory right ends at the point of download, our own 14-day refund window described above still applies. If you have not yet downloaded the book you can still request a full refund within 14 days. If you have downloaded or accessed more than 15% of the content, the sale is considered final under both your statutory waiver and our own policy.

Fair Use & Abuse Prevention

We are a small business and put hundreds of hours into testing and cooking these recipes. We monitor for patterns of “serial refunding” (buying, downloading everything and immediately asking for a refund).

What counts as accessing the content: For clarity, downloading the PDF or ebook file counts as full access. If you read the book through an online viewer or preview, accessing more than 15% of the pages or recipes counts as having accessed the content. Once either of these happens, the purchase is final and a refund will not be issued except in cases of genuine technical issues.

If we detect that the system is being abused, we reserve the right to decline future purchases from your account or email address. We ask that you please be fair with us as we try to be fair with you.

The Refund Process

Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Paddle. Here is what to expect:

Credit/Debit Card payments: Refunds typically take 5-10 business days to appear back in your account after Paddle processes them. The exact timing depends on your card issuer.

PayPal payments: Refunds typically take 3-7 business days to appear in your PayPal balance after Paddle processes them.

If it has been longer than 10 business days and you have not received your refund, please contact Paddle support directly or reach out to us through our Contact page and we will help track it down.

Here are the main details you need to provide to start the process:

  • Require order email or Paddle order/transaction ID (whatever Paddle provides on the receipt).
  • Require the request come from the same email used at checkout (or include the receipt).

After The Refund Is Complete

  • Once we refund you, we disable your download link / access to updates.
  • Please delete your copy(s) of the books you downloaded.
 

By accepting the refund, you agree that you no longer have any license to use, share or reproduce any content from the books. We reserve the right to verify that downloaded files have been deleted.
