Ingredients You'll Need

1 cup Pineapple, chopped
1 inch of fresh Ginger peeled and grated
1/2 cup Mango, chopped
1/2 cup Coconut water
Juice of 1/2 Lime

Let's Get Started!

  • Chop the Pineapple and Mango into small pieces if you haven’t already. Next, peel and grate the fresh Ginger.
  • Squeeze out the juice of half a Lime.
  • Add the chopped Pineapple, Mango, grated Ginger, Coconut water, and Lime juice into a blender.
  • Blend up this yummy mixture for around 1 minute or until the texture looks smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick for your taste, simply add in a little more Coconut water into it.
  • Pour the smoothie juice into a glass. Add ice cubes if you’d like it extra chilled, and enjoy!

Pineapple is rich in vitamin C, supporting immune health and skin health, while also containing bromelain, an enzyme that aids digestion. Mango adds an extra dose of fiber, vitamin A, and antioxidants that promote eye health, boost immunity, and support heart health. Together, they make a nutritious, energizing snack that’s as good for you as it is delicious.

  • How much Ginger should I use if I don't want it to be too spicy?

Ginger can add a spicy kick of its own which tastes great in this recipe. If you want to be extra, just grate 1/2 inch of Ginger instead of the full amount and if you wish to bump up the spice level a bit more simply grate and mix the rest of the Ginger into the juice.

  • How can I make this smoothie creamier?

To make it more creamier, add ¼ to ½ cup of Yogurt or a ripe Banana. Greek Yogurt will add extra protein and thickness, while Banana will make it extra smooth without changing the flavour much.

  • Can I make this smoothie ahead of time and store it?

Yes, you can store this smoothie in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but it’s best when freshly made. If separation occurs, just give it a good stir or shake before drinking. For longer storage, freeze the smoothie in a sealed container and thaw before drinking.
