Ingredients

  • 12 sturdy round crackers (such as Ritz, multigrain, or water crackers)
  • 100g (3.5 oz) cooked turkey breast, shredded or sliced into small pieces
  • 100g (3.5 oz) Brie cheese, sliced thinly
  • 6 tbsp whole berry cranberry sauce or thick cranberry jam
  • Fresh basil or parsley leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) if you want the Brie slightly melted.
  • Lay out the crackers on a serving tray or lined baking sheet.
  • Place a slice of Brie on each cracker so it covers most of the surface.
  • Add a small piece of turkey on top of the Brie. Try to keep the turkey pieces about the same size for neat presentation.
  • If you want warm, soft cheese, place the tray in the oven for 2–3 minutes until the Brie just starts to soften. Remove and let them sit for a minute so they’re warm but not hot.
  • Spoon about a teaspoon of cranberry sauce or jam over each cracker, letting it sit neatly on top of the turkey.
  • Garnish each with a small basil or parsley leaf for colour and freshness.
  • Serve right away while the crackers are crisp and the toppings are soft and flavourful.
