Ingredients You'll Need

1 Cup All Purpose Flour or Pastry Flour
2 Whole Eggs
1 Tbsp Sugar
200ml or 3/4 Cup of Milk
1/4 Tsp of Salt
1/4 Tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)

Let's Get Started!

  • If you prefer to have more tender and delicate looking Crepes then you may wish to use Pastry Flour instead of All Purpose Flour. Both will result in delicious French Crepes in no time. Let’s start by getting a glass bowl to mix our dry ingredients in first.
  • Sift in your Flour of choice into a large bowl to prevent a clumpy texture in our yummy Pancakes. Add in your Sugar and Salt into the Flour and whisk it to combine our dry ingredients.
  • Now let’s add in the wet ingredients. Starting with the Milk and then the whole Eggs, Whisk this together properly until you have a lump free batter. Now to create the ideal Crepe batter that’s super smooth, pour the batter through the sieve and use a Spatula to push the rest of the batter through. Now we have a smooth, lump free Pancake batter ready to cook!
  • Melt some Butter or use some Vegetable Oil of choice in a non-stick or Cast Iron Pan on medium heat. Then simply use a ladle to scoop up some of the batter and pour it out onto the hot Pan. Gently swirl the Pan around to get the wet batter spread out nice and evenly across the surface.
  • Cook the batter for about a minute, then flip it over with a Spatula and let it cook for another minute and your all set. You can enjoy these with any toppings or fillings of your choice such as Nutella or slices of Banana. This recipe should give you enough for 8 tasty Crepes. Serve, share and enjoy!
