3 Ingredient Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients You'll Need
Let's Get Started!
- For this yummy recipe we want to use room temperature Peanut Butter without the crunchy bits. Get yourself a glass bowl to make the cookie dough in.
- Let’s now add the Peanut Butter, Sugar and whole Egg and start mixing them up until it forms a nice looking cookie dough batter. You can add in a pinch of Salt if you wish or even some Vanilla extract to boost the flavour too!
- Get a baking tray with baking paper and let’s make some palm sized round balls. This should make anywhere from 10 to 12 cookies. Spread them out evenly onto the baking tray as you make them.
- Now gently press them down using a fork to leave two fork marks in the shape of a crisscross pattern. This will help them cook better too and look great when they are baked!
- Simply bake them in the oven at 350° F / 180° C for about 10 minutes, take them out and let them cool down properly before serving for best results. Share this with your friends and family and enjoy!
People Also Asked..
Why Do My Peanut Butter Cookies Fall Apart After Baking?
This usually happens for 2 main reasons. They could be overcooked so they’ve gone more dry and crumble more easily. Try cooking them for the suggested baking time of about 10 minutes at the recommended temperature.
It can also be falling apart because it needs a little more moisture in your batter. You could increase the moisture content by adding a splash of Milk of your choice while some even suggest to add in an extra Egg yolk into the batter for improving the taste and texture.
Should You Refrigerate Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Before Baking?
This recipe doesn’t require chilling the cookie dough in the fridge before baking. If you do refrigerate them though, it will reduce the amount they spread out when baking so just keep that in mind.
Can I Make This Cookie Recipe Without Eggs?
Sure you can if you prefer to make your Cookies eggless. You can use Apple Sauce as an egg substitute or another egg substitute of your choice and they should still turn out tasting delicious.
Why Do You Put Fork Marks In Peanut Butter Cookies?
The main reason for this is because the dough for these Nut Butter Cookies tend to be more dense. By gently pressing fork marks into the batter it allows them to cook more evenly and gives them a great distinctive texture too!
